Lake Charles is one of the more popular communities located in the St. Lucie West area of Port St. Lucie, FL. It is a 500-acre community surrounded by 100-acres of lakes and nature preserves and consists of 1,030 single family homes and 102 townhomes. All homes are built with brick paver driveways and tile roofs and although no two homes look alike, the standard of construction and uniformity of quality blend well together. Lake Charles has seven interconnecting lakes that allow non-gas powered boats and also has basketball and tennis courts throughout.
